Climbing terrain inside a former ironworks.

In the Kunimoto–Oya area of northwest Utsunomiya, the existing official site describes a former ironworks converted into a climbing gym that opened in 2015.

A climbing gym rooted in its neighbourhood

First-time visits, everyday sessions, youth classes and competitions bring climbers with different goals into one distinctive building.

Bouldering walls

Seven varied walls including vertical terrain, a slab, 110°, 130° and 150° angles, plus a competition-simulation wall.

Four lower walls designed to make guardian support easier. School sessions take priority during class times.

A six-metre practice wall for top-rope and lead climbing, plus an outdoor wall. Confirm access conditions in advance.

Standard bouldering area

The existing site lists a 105 m² standard bouldering area within an approximately 300 m² site, with room to rest between climbs.

Beginners can start with bouldering fundamentals. Rope-wall access conditions require confirmation.

Short, rope-free problems above landing mats, with challenges for first-timers and experienced climbers.

Lead / top rope

The site lists an indoor six-metre wall and an outdoor wall. Safety requirements and opening times must be confirmed before visiting.

A pathway from recreational learning to competition goals. Check scheduled dates separately from normal gym access.
