The existing official site records a 2015 opening in the Kunimoto–Oya area of northwest Utsunomiya, welcoming beginners and competition climbers.

FIRST VISIT

Bring clothes you can move in—and socks.

Shoes and chalk are available to rent, and staff explain essential safety rules and movement basics to first-time visitors.

  1. Arrive ready to move

    Wear clothes that can get a little dirty. Socks are required with rental shoes.

  2. Check in and register

    A first registered visit includes an introduction, registration, payment and facility tour. Published trial plans do not require registration.

  3. Safety orientation

    Learn the rules, equipment and wall use. Remove rings, watches and pocket contents before climbing.

  4. Warm up, then climb

    Warm up and stretch, then ask staff whenever something is unclear.

Can complete beginners climb here?

Yes. The published first-visit guidance says staff explain safety, gym rules and basic movement to newcomers, and visitors are welcome to look around.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty, your admission fee and yourself in good health. Socks are required with rental shoes.

Can I rent shoes and chalk?

Yes. The existing official site lists both shoe and chalk rental, with published shoe sizes from 17 to 29 cm.

Can children climb?

The published policy welcomes preschoolers who can wear climbing shoes. A guardian must sign for minors, and age-based supervision rules apply.

Is rope climbing available?

A six-metre rope wall and the outdoor “Excalibur” wall are listed. Ask the gym about access conditions and day-of availability before visiting.

Is parking available?

The existing official site lists up to 30 spaces on the south side of the building, where the entrance is located. Please drive slowly and avoid idling out of consideration for neighbours.
